You will be working for a Managed Services business based in Central London. As a 2nd line Technician, you will be a critical point of communication and contact for a selection of end clients. This is not your typical 2nd Line role, you will be technically hands on with a real focus on stakeholder management and end user relationships.
The Role:
The role of the 2nd Line Engineer is to provide first class technical support and advice to assist individuals in finding the solution to any problems or questions they may have, with a real passion for making peoples day that little bit easier.
Your Responsibilities:
- Resolving technical issues, updating Status/Workaround/Resolution within the Service Desk team.
- Change, problem, asset, and incident management.
- Ability to take real ownership of users problems and use your own initiative to come to the best solution.
- 50/50 Split Hardware and End User Computing issues or tickets.
Requirements:
- Experience supporting, maintaining, and configuring distributed environment of desktop devices.
- O365 – Exchange, Intune, SharePoint
- Azure
- Network experience – Cisco routing, switches, servers, LAN/WAN
