This growing Managed Service Provider already have a clearly defined project management framework but as part of their strategic growth they are looking to move a project coordinator into a new role to deliver smaller scale implementations and upgrades whilst being responsible for resource management across field and project engineers. This is a unique opportunity to position yourself as the linchpin of the organisation for successful project and service delivery.
Not only will this opportunity allow you to complete projects internally, but you will also be working with a variety of their customers to deliver highly efficient technology solutions that improve the way they work and enable them to do more!
The role itself:
- You will take responsibility of smaller scale network and infrastructure orientated projects with several moving parts most of which will involve the services team, projects team and field engineers.
- As an externally facing project coordinator, service and satisfaction from the customer will be centric to everything that you do.
- Working across the service, account management / sales, projects and field teams, your role will act as a linchpin to the success of the delivery of projects.
- Resource management, you will take ownership of the resource management across the field and projects teams to ensure availability, sensible scheduling, and of course happy customers!
What about you?
- You will have a proven track-record of successfully delivering projects within a managed services environment.
- An ability and willingness to deliver projects effectively with proven experience working across multiple customers and teams.
- A fundamental understanding of infrastructure and network solutions at a high level.
- Knowledge of Prince 2 methodologies, process improvement and what a ‘good’ project delivery looks like.
- Experience with resource management especially with field services teams would be a bonus.
