Day to Day you can expect to be:

• Remotely supporting customers, identifying issues affecting customer systems and services, performing 2nd line diagnosis with a view to resolution.
• Providing proactive support from their command centre, ensuring that their networks are up and working.
• Self-learning on the job with vendor agnostic kit (you can use Google to support) whilst also being funded to take and attain relevant industry standard IT accreditations.
• Liaise with clients to analyse, review, identify and develop relationships that meet/exceed customer needs.
• Contribute to highest levels of prospect and customer satisfaction.
• Make recommendations in regards to improving customers services.
• Supporting Switches, Routers and Firewalls in order to improve network uptime and support customers needs.

The profile of a successful candidate:

• Experience supporting switches, firewalls and routers such as Check Point, Cisco, Juniper etc.
• A minimum of one year providing security solutions in a technical support role with high technical ability or being an IT graduate.
• Familiarity with networking equipment with an understanding of routers, switches, Firewalls and wide area communications 
• Knowledge of IT Security is desirable.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
• The ability to work under pressure, multitasking various projects whilst adhering to deadlines
• Flexible, self-motivated and goal oriented.
